We are hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker for our busy distribution center in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network by performing essential warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. You will be an integral part of our team, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Safety is a top priority; therefore, all employees are required to follow strict safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading shipments from trucks.
- Receiving, identifying, and logging incoming inventory.
- Picking items from shelves according to order lists.
- Packing orders accurately and securely for shipment.
- Stocking and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Operating pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Following proper lifting and material handling guidelines.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
