We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances promptly and effectively.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product shelf-life adherence.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain optimal stock.
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) occasionally.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to using PPE.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
