You will conduct regular audits, analyze inventory data, investigate discrepancies, and implement strategies to minimize stock losses and improve flow. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances promptly and effectively.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product shelf-life adherence.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain optimal stock.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline inventory processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs) occasionally.
- Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to using PPE.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
