Join our vibrant team as an Order Picker in the heart of New York City, New York! We are looking for diligent and detail-oriented individuals to contribute to our efficient logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing items for customer orders, playing a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Packing orders carefully and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Staging picked orders in designated areas for quality control and shipping.
- Operating manual and electric pallet jacks as needed for order fulfillment.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety standards.
- Strictly following all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Conducting visual quality checks on items picked to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Understanding and adhering to our logistics processes and procedures for order processing.
- Participating in inventory counts and stocktaking activities as required.
