Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia? We are hiring for a key role within our state-of-the-art distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of goods within our facility. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed. You will work with various types of materials, contributing to the seamless flow of products through our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stocking and organizing inventory in designated storage locations.
- Performing regular equipment checks to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Adhering strictly to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace to promote safety and efficiency in our logistics operations.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, and comfortable with repetitive physical tasks.
- Following all instructions for material handling and storage procedures.
- Contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
