We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain the accuracy of our stock in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is central to our warehouse operations, ensuring that our inventory records are precise and reflect the physical stock on hand. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, updating inventory management systems, and assisting with receiving and put-away processes. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock rotation and minimize errors. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is crucial. You will be expected to follow all company policies and safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While the role focuses on data accuracy, occasional lifting may be required during inventory checks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Accurately record inventory movements in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist with the receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or overages.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and safety procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse/inventory role is required. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform tasks involving occasional lifting, typically up to 30 lbs. Good organizational and time management skills. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is essential. This position is key to maintaining operational efficiency in our logistics center.
