Are you a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Miami, Florida? Our busy distribution center is seeking experienced individuals to join our logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Stack and store inventory in designated locations.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving warehouse safety and efficiency in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.
