We are looking for energetic and dependable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! This position offers a fantastic entry point into the world of logistics. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading, sorting, and organizing inventory to ensure smooth warehouse operations. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety, and all employees are required to follow strict guidelines and use the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If you are ready to work hard, contribute to a team, and learn new skills, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping containers.
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Assist with order picking and packing processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Follow all Safety instructions and protocols to prevent accidents.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Properly use all issued PPE during work activities.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse duties.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing PPE.
