Join our dynamic fulfillment center in Orlando, Florida, as a Picker/Packer. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to accurately select products from inventory and prepare them for shipment. This role is vital to our customer satisfaction, ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. You will be responsible for picking items based on order slips, packing them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or hand-held scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack products safely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order details before packing to ensure accuracy.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Use pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as required.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
- Follow all procedures related to order fulfillment and logistics operations.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Comfortable lifting and moving packages up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics is a plus.
