We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Boise, Idaho. This position is essential for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store goods. A strong commitment to safety, precision, and operational excellence is required.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets, loads, and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and rail cars.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations, including storage areas and production lines.
- Stack and store materials according to established guidelines and safety procedures.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock location verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, and reflective vests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant).
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- Excellent understanding of forklift operation safety and warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
