We are looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our busy logistics center in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, ensuring correct product identification and quantity. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for maintaining our order fulfillment timelines. You will also be involved in preparing orders for shipment and maintaining a clean and safe working environment within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage orders for shipping carriers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting any discrepancies.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all established logistics procedures for order picking and fulfillment.
- Be aware of Lifting requirements and use safe lifting techniques.
- Contribute to the overall productivity of the warehouse team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Good physical condition; ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and basic logistics.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed.
