Join our vibrant team in Tampa, Florida, as a Picker/Packer! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Efficiency, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail are paramount. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace within our logistics facility.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations based on order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all logistics and order fulfillment protocols.
- Be aware of Lifting requirements and practice safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Good stamina and physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics operations.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
