Join our thriving distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for energetic individuals to support a wide range of warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely.
- Verify incoming shipments against documentation and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately pick items according to order specifications and prepare them for packing.
- Package products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with logistics standards.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Be prepared for physically demanding tasks that involve significant Lifting, bending, and standing.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and prolonged standing.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and commitment to wearing necessary PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
