POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Audiologist is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services in a busy ENT clinic setting. This role works collaboratively with otolaryngologists, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to evaluate, diagnose, and manage hearing disorders across the lifespan. The audiologist will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the medical goals of the practice.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
*Diagnostic Audiology*
* Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations for pediatric and adult patients
* Conduct diagnostic audiologic testing including:
* Pure-tone and speech audiometry
* Tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing
* Evaluate and document results for medical review by ENT providers
* Assist in diagnosing hearing loss, tinnitus, vestibular disorders, and related conditions
*Hearing Aid & Amplification Services*
* Recommend appropriate hearing aid technology based on diagnostic results and patient needs
* Perform hearing aid fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care
* Provide patient education on hearing aid use, care, and realistic expectations
* Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids and assistive listening devices
* Document hearing aid sales and services in accordance with clinic protocols
*Patient Care & Education*
* Educate patients and families on hearing health, treatment options, and preventative care
* Provide compassionate, clear communication tailored to diverse patient populations
* Support patient satisfaction and retention through high-quality service
*Documentation & Compliance*
* Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
* Ensure compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and professional standards
* Support billing and coding processes related to audiology services
*Collaboration & Clinic Support*
* Work closely with ENT physicians, APPs, nurses, and clinic staff
* Participate in clinic meetings, quality initiatives, and process improvement efforts
* Support referral development and hearing healthcare growth within the practice
QUALIFICATIONS
*Required*
* Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or Master’s degree in Audiology
* Current Minnesota audiology license
* Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
*Preferred*
* Previous experience in an ENT or medical clinic setting
* Hearing aid dispensing experience
* Familiarity with NextGen EMR
* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
