We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving specified items from our inventory. Success in this position requires focus, accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic logistics environment. Join us and contribute to our growing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process picking orders using RF scanners or paper pick lists.
- Accurately identify and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Confirm picked items match order specifications (item, quantity, condition).
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to management.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
Safety & PPE:
Your safety is our priority. You will be provided with essential personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests and gloves. It is imperative to follow all established safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and safe movement within the warehouse. A strong understanding of safety in logistics is expected.
