We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will oversee various warehouse functions, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staff supervision, and ensuring efficient logistics flow. Your responsibilities will include optimizing warehouse layout, implementing efficient workflows, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and practices. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment and expect all team members to prioritize Safety and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may involve some Lifting and requires the ability to manage complex logistics tasks. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counts.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely processing.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety standards and procedures.
- Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and reports.
- Coordinate with external logistics providers and carriers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Perform tasks that may involve occasional Lifting of up to 35 pounds.
- Foster a culture of Safety and productivity within the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to develop and implement operational improvements.
- Understanding of Safety regulations and experience in enforcing them.
- Commitment to a Safe work environment and the proper use of PPE.
