Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our San Antonio, Texas facility. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. You will be instrumental in managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the timely processing of all goods. A strong emphasis on safety , accuracy, and efficiency is required. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, accurately picking and packing orders.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move and stack merchandise.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates and regular audits.
  • Process shipping documentation and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
  • Ensure the dock areas and warehouse remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counting processes.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the distribution center's logistics network.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and WMS systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Understanding of logistics principles and best practices.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
