Join our growing logistics team in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a Warehouse Worker! We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to perform a variety of tasks within our distribution center. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting all aspects of inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation. You will be involved in receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. A strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity is essential. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding environment. You will be expected to follow all warehouse procedures and contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere. Key responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment, moving materials, and ensuring that all items are handled properly and stored correctly. Frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds is a requirement of this role, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Sort and place received items into designated storage areas.
- Pick products accurately based on order requirements.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with general logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
