Your responsibilities will include verifying shipment details against orders, selecting appropriate packaging, accurately labeling all packages, and coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups. A high level of accuracy and organization is essential for this role to guarantee that shipments reach our customers correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic work environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality control. This position may involve some moderate Lifting of packages. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, requiring strict adherence to all safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Process and prepare outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify order details against shipping documentation and customer requirements.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and any necessary documentation to packages.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
- Track shipments and provide status updates when required.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
