Internal Sales Birmingham - trainee technical sales account manager based close to NEC Birmingham, West Midlands. This trainee internal sales position, (West Midlands based) for a renowned International manufacturer will involve selling a range of specialist technical products and equipment for production lines to a wide range of manufacturing sectors throughout the UK. This rewarding office based sales role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class, advising customers on the technical features, and benefits of using the products. The role is based in the office at Birmingham Business Park next to the NEC and Birmingham International Train Station. Working as part of a fun team and reporting directly to the UK Manager, once trained you will be fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area. The role will also involve occasional visits to clients so individuals must be smartly presented. Full and ongoing product training will be given. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * Confident and willing to learn.. * Possessing good communication skills and telephone manner. * A pro-active person with a “can-do” attitude. * Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently & build rapport at all levels of authority with clients & colleagues. * Desire, passion and hunger to succeed in sales. * Quick learner / able to learn about new technology. * Excellent telephone manner. * Knowledge of using basic IT packages such as Microsoft office 365. * Valid Passport as 2nd interview will be at International HQ in Europe. THE PACKAGE: Basic Salary: Circa £22k dependent on experience. Commission: 5-10% on sales above budget. Benefits: Personal Healthcare, Opportunities to progress to management.
