Border Security Specialist

The US Border Security Specialist role involves safeguarding America’s borders while enforcing laws related to immigration and customs.

• Detect individuals suspected of violating law; inspect documents/possessions for citizenship/violations
• Prevent & apprehend undocumented noncitizens/smugglers at/near borders using surveillance/covert tactics

This career ladder position offers promotions after successfully completing training in each grade level. It is possible to advance within five years, becoming eligible for advancement without needing a full application process change.
