Border Protection SpecialistJob Description:
As a Border Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America’s borders and protecting the nation's economic prosperity. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an elite team of highly trained professionals who embody camaraderie, pride, and purpose in their daily mission.
In this position, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel. You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility for entry into the United States. Additionally, you will prevent illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods as well as detect smuggling activities.

to qualify for this position:
pYou must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
rno prior felony convictions or other crimes that would impact your ability to serve as a federal officer;reside within 100 miles from where assigned work duties are performed;,and achieve passing grades on all training courses during Basic Training/Field Operations Academy;if currently serving or having previously served in any military branch with active duty time lasting more than one year,.must meet Departmental requirements before turning age 40.;have no tattoos below elbows/knees/wrists.
,lor specialty unit assignments: pass departmental criminal investigation course.Be able-bodied.t can drive standard transmission vehicle ,you do not use opioids/heroin/methamphetamine substance abuse chemical dependency
