We are hiring an Order Picker to work in our facility located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work closely with a team to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy. We are seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and possess the physical stamina required for this demanding role. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and are committed to quality, this could be the perfect fit for you. Training will be provided on our inventory management systems and best practices. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Significant lifting and movement are involved in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package selected items carefully for shipment, meeting company standards.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Stage orders for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for order picking.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as directed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is beneficial. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
