You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, verifying shipment details, and maintaining accurate shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping labels.
- Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Communicate with internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Operate shipping software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a related logistics role is preferred. Proficiency with shipping software and WMS is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform tasks involving some physical activity, including occasional Lifting. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment. A commitment to safety and adherence to all company guidelines.
