We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for our Salt Lake City, Utah location. This is a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for handling a variety of goods, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe work environment. If you possess excellent forklift skills, a strong commitment to safety, and experience in logistics, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks as needed, supporting team members.
- Understand and follow logistics workflows and procedures.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to a culture of safety excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Must wear required PPE at all times.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
