The Customs and Border Protection Officer role offers a unique chance to work with a highly skilled team of law enforcement professionals who are dedicated to protecting America's borders.
About the Role:
- Detect, prevent, and respond to threats that could compromise national security.
- Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. This includes detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods, enforcing regulations related to importing/exporting goods, utilizing intelligence techniques for risk assessments.
You may also be eligible if you meet education requirements or a combination of both.
