Secure Borders Specialist

Protecting America's borders is a critical mission that requires dedication and expertise.

1. Border patrol agents play a vital role in safeguarding the nation by detecting and apprehending individuals attempting to cross international boundaries illegally.

• A border patrol agent must possess strong observational skills, be able to work in high-stress environments, and maintain situational awareness at all times.

This position also demands excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public. Physical fitness is essential as border patrol agents may need to pursue suspects on foot or respond quickly to emergencies.
Skill Requirements: A U.S. citizen age 21-36 (with certain exceptions) can apply for this job after completing training which includes physical fitness tests and law enforcement procedures instruction.
In addition applicants have other requirements: complete 1 year of relevant experience; one year of full-time college study; OR three years of adventure-seeker/ mountaineering-related experiences are required if you don't meet above requirement.
