Border Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will also facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities including conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States, and utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats.

• Detecting suspected violators of federal, state or local laws using proper law enforcement methods
• Enforcing import/export regulations relating to international shipping
• Risk assessments to determine admissibility for US entrance
• Candidate must have one year specialized experience equivalent GS-7 level
