Protect American Interests as a Customs and Border Protection Officer
Safeguarding the nation's borders requires a unique blend of law enforcement skills, immigration knowledge, and physical fitness. As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will be part of an elite team responsible for protecting America by:
- Enforcing customs laws to prevent illicit activity at our borders
- Facilitating legitimate trade and travel while maintaining border security
- Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations
- Determining admissibility for entry into the United States based on specific requirements
- Preventing illegal entry of prohibited goods and contraband through interception efforts
The CBP Office Field Operations is currently seeking highly motivated candidates who possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking abilities combined with effective problem-solving techniques.
The ideal candidate should have experience or education that demonstrates their ability to meet people's needs as well.
In accordance with Department Homeland Security Directive this position comes under law enforcement retirement provisions which means applicants must refer selection prior reaching age limitation forty years in Public Law ,
