As part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce, you will have the opportunity to work with an elite team of law enforcement professionals dedicated to protecting American interests. You will be responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry and smuggling activities.

Enforcing customs regulations while facilitating legitimate trade;
Conducting cargo/baggage examinations as well as interviewing individuals entering or leaving U.S.;
Identifying potential threats through intelligence techniques/behavior analysis;
