Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Manager of Communication, Ontario Region. You will be part of the Regional Communication Department. You will support internal and external communication initiatives across the Ontario region by developing digital content, managing social media, coordinating events, and assisting with public relations activities, to ensure clear and consistent messaging for employees, community partners, and internal & external stakeholders. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Assess communication and marketing needs, support the development and execution of direct and digital campaigns, and recommend advertising and promotional strategies;
Monitor analytics, complete post‑campaign evaluations, and prepare reports to support data‑driven decision‑making;
Develop and maintain social media content and profiles, track online engagement, and contribute to digital storytelling and brand visibility;
Prepare communication materials—including press releases, presentations, and reports—support media coordination, stakeholder engagement, and assist with crisis communication preparation;
Organize workshops, community events, meetings, and other initiatives; coordinate logistics with vendors and partners; and provide communication support for talent and public‑facing activities;
Other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field;
Minimum 1-3 years of related experience;
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Team-oriented with strong collaboration abilities;
Analytical thinking and ability to synthesize information;
Adaptability to changing needs and environments;
Curiosity and willingness to learn;
Experience with creative tools such as Adobe, Canva, Camtasia, etc. is an asset;
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Your Work Schedule
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, a combination of teleworking and presence at our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to sites and Ontario communities may also be required;
Flexibility in work hours to accommodate events.
