Pay Range: $83, $104,063.00
Key Purpose Statement
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Key Accounts Retail this role is responsible for all aspects of the convenience channel in Ontario. With a clear focus on growing share and creating value in the channel the successful candidate must be willing to engage with key industry stakeholders, work cross functionally to identify and execute opportunities and deliver the numbers.
Key Responsibilities
Convenience Channel Key Accounts:
Collaborate cross functionally to develop and execute annual sales plan in the channel
Work cross functionally with peer group to ensure business deliverables are met from a sales KAM and agent perspective
Foster best in class relationships with industry KDM's
Budget Contribution
Lead the provincial RKAM team in the DRM and financial review
Ownership of depletion plan and risks and opportunities communication
Sales lead with cross functional peers (SC & Finance) for actuals and forecast submission
Champion of channel news and market updates
Budget Management
Ownership of trade spend and fixed costs
Lead account planning process and future state
Special Project Support
Support on special projects as required, ensuring project timelines are met and objectives are achieved.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Scope
External interaction with stakeholders in Ontario Convenience channel
Cross functional interaction with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain
Occasional evening and weekend hours to deliver results
Occasional in-field / customer facing travel
Occasional Travel within province
Key Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of sales key account experience within Ontario (Bev Alc, CPG or other).
Ideally working with an import portfolio
Experience managing provincial budgets (trade, DME) or specific contributions to a P&L.
Existing network in the Ontario Bev Alc business and an above average understanding of the retail channel dynamics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Flexibility and versatility – ability to manage multiple and differing work assignments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present analysis and findings to management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms is advantageous.
Willingness to relocate for future career growth opportunities within the EMEAA & AEI regions.
