Border Security Specialist

This position involves safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• Serving as a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer to ensure compliance with laws and regulations while interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws to protect public health, safety, and national security.

• determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States

• Facilitating lawful trade by conducting inspections of conveyances carrying goods across international borders. 

• negotiating with commercial carriers or importers/exporters regarding shipping documents,
  invoices, 
  and
