Position Title: Summer Student, Property Management

Term Length:  Summer 2026 (May - August)

Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days in office

The Summer student will report to the Director, Retail Property Management. The summer student will be provided with practical exposure to operations and administration in the context of a fast-paced real estate company, within the Western & Ontario Retail Property Management portfolio. The successful candidate will be providing overall assistance on special projects and general administration to different teams within the portfolio as directed.

During this program, you will work and communicate with people across all levels of the organization, while expanding your business network, perform amongst a variety of teams and develop new skillsets and sources of knowledge, and learn and grow as you demonstrate leadership and make connections across our group of companies.

• Work with different internal applications to perform administrative functions such as:

• Nexus coding for Purchase orders, accounts payable invoices, verifying ContractorCheck Accreditations, and assist vendors where required

• Input tenant sales figures into JD Edwards

• Upload Tenant's certificate of insurance, and update contact information in MRI Angus

• Work alongside the Property Management team to coordinate tenders for various disciplines through BuildingConnected, including the coordination of new vendors, reviewing Scope of Work for new projects such as Security, Operations Manager, and HVAC tenders

• Coordinate packages including bid analysis after tender and service agreements

• Assist Director of West Retail – Gross Sales Project – combination of working with different team leads i.e. Lease Admin, Property Managers to review and update Gross Sales Lease Audit

• Create and maintain an up-to-date list for projects that require tendering as per our compliance policies.

• Other special projects as they become available throughout the duration of their term

• Currently enrolled in Property Management/Real Estate Maintenance

• Proof of good academic performance

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong technical skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word)

• Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment
