The Role
EFW Receptionists are responsible for completing the patient registration process efficiently and effectively providing an exceptional patient experience to all patients entering an EFW site.
Reporting to: Clinic Support Supervisor
Role Overview
Warmly greets patients and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
Monitors patient waiting room dynamics, ensuring timely communication about wait times and relevant information.
Adheres to privacy policies, safeguarding personal and health information.
Efficiently completes patient registration, recording accurate personal details.
Maintains patient records in the RIS system.
Responds professionally to patient inquiries in person or over the phone.
Schedules follow-up appointments as needed.
Coordinates workflow for technical staff.
Retrieves patient records.
Manages clinic equipment and supplies.
Undertakes additional duties as assigned.
You Have The Following
Completion of Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program preferred.
Previous healthcare environment experience is an asset.
Compassionate patient care and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Motivated self-starter, both independent and team-oriented.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Accurate work in a busy reception setting.
Good judgment under various circumstances.
Effective time management.
Attention to detail in an open waiting room.
Quickly learn and use computer programs.

Schedule: Clinic Rotations including daytime, evening, and/or Saturday shifts as required.
