Primary Responsibilities
About the Job
The Warehouse Operations Support specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our distribution center. In this position, you will serve as the administrative backbone for the warehouse team, ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments, 3PL partners, and external customers.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable navigating complex logistics portals—specifically Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Retail Link—and who can leverage SAP to maintain impeccable inventory records. Essential Functions
Position Accountabilities
Amazon Portal Management : Manage the end-to-end process within the Amazon Seller Central Portal. This includes reviewing Vendor Central for confirmed purchase orders, inputting items to pick lists, creating ASN files, and uploading them for confirmation.
Walmart Retail Link : Execute the electronic submission of ASNs for all goods shipped to Walmart via the Retail Link System, ensuring strict compliance with their receiving requirements.
3PL Coordination : Oversee 3PL shipment management and order entry. Act as the primary liaison to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time.
Inventory Control & SAP Management
SAP Reconciliation : Utilize SAP as the primary ERP system to verify item quantities against 3PL records. Investigate and adjust any discrepancies to ensure system alignment.
Inventory Integrity : Maintain accurate inventory records by investigating variances, reviewing packing slip discrepancies, and collaborating with Supply Chain Management (SCM) on corrections.
Cycle Counts & Audits : Support inbound and outbound audits, perform regular cycle counts, and conduct dating audits (checking on-hand dating in bins) to ensure stock freshness and accuracy.
Returns Management (RAs): Investigate inventory issues related to customer returns. Manage short claims, review past-due RAs in SAP, and follow up with CAR/Sales teams to close out returns efficiently.
Clearance Coordination : Collaborate with Brand Managers prior to listing distribution to ensure the correct items are designated for Clearance or Donation.
Asset Management & Compliance
CHEP Pallet Management : Manage the CHEP system to maintain accurate records of pallet movement between locations and customer sites. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between recorded inventory and physical counts.
Food Safety: actively support and participate in food safety programs, including SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards and protocols.
Administrative Support : Assist with general reporting, logbook maintenance, and handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience And Qualifications Required
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental problem solving.
Strong analytical skills to investigate inventory discrepancies.
Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Logistics or Supply Chain is an asset.
Required: Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office (specifically Excel).
Required: Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Retail Link.
Experience: Previous experience in a Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain environment.
The base compensation range for this role is$42,900 CAD - $54,000 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
