The Opportunity
The Service Advisor is responsible for coordinating AGI Service from start to finish including in-house service repairs and remote, onsite repairs while providing exceptional customer service. This individual will support Service Technicians by ensuring parts availability and coordinating communication between all internal and external stakeholders throughout the repair process. Additionally, the Service Advisor will drive operational excellence through effective KPI management, daily visual management, and support for warranty claim processes.
The Team
This position will work closely with the entire AGI Saskatoon Team. The Field Service Technician will report directly to the Branch Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to service and spare parts.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, proactive follow-ups, and issue resolution.
Support planning and scheduling of service-related inquiries for repairs and repair parts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare quotes for services which include parts, labor and travel time.
Oversee and support field service teams as needed on-site.
Coordinate to ensure materials, resource, and site readiness/preparedness
Ensure safety and quality during service work execution.
Work with the Sales, Service Manager and factory on warranty claims including issue tracking, documentation, and customer communication, as needed.
Support warranty investigations and root cause analysis to help reduce recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.
Monitor and report on KPIs related to spare parts, service delivery, and customer response times.
Drive daily visual management practices to ensure transparency and alignment across departments.
Access existing company archives (engineering drawings, quotations, etc.) to identify necessary spare parts, including items purchased form 3rd party vendors, parts to be produced in an AGI facility, and a mix of these items
Create a positive work environment necessary to build a cohesive growing team.
Follow AGI's Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies

Requirements And Qualifications
3-5 years' progressive experience in customer service, project Management, or spare parts management in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams.
Mechanical aptitude or technical background is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to successfully interact with employees and clients professionally
Ability to travel domestically as needed
