About the Role:
LJ Welding Automation is seeking a Senior Accountant (CPA) to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate and complete financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting the organization's operational and financial objectives.
This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently while collaborating across departments in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage fixed asset accounting, including capital expenditures (CAPEX), depreciation, and disposals
Oversee inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy and proper valuation
Handle intercompany transactions, including reconciliations and eliminations
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting working papers
Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting and reporting issues
Desired Skills & Qualifications
CPA designation required
3–5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
2–3 years of public practice audit experience required
Manufacturing industry experience is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies
