This is a unique hybrid role combining:
Aircraft parts procurement & inventory management
Maintenance workflow coordination
Administrative and reporting oversight
Operational analytics and process improvement
You will serve as a central operational link within the maintenance department — ensuring technicians across locations have the right parts, the right information, and clear workflow visibility to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Procurement & Inventory Management
Source and purchase aircraft parts, consumables, and tooling for multiple maintenance locations
Track orders, delivery timelines, backorders, and AOG requirements
Receive and document incoming parts (including certification and traceability review)
Maintain accurate inventory records and stores organization
Coordinate core returns, warranty claims, and vendor communications
Monitor parts spend trends and support cost control initiatives
Maintenance Workflow & Coordination
Assist in scheduling maintenance activities based on parts availability and labour capacity
Maintain visibility on active maintenance events and aircraft status
Coordinate communication between maintenance teams, flight operations, and finance
Support cross-location standardization of processes and documentation
Administrative & Reporting Support
Compile and review technician timesheets for accuracy and reporting
Assist with maintenance event documentation and invoicing support
Track labour utilization, event cycle times, and inventory turnover
Develop routine operational reporting for maintenance leadership
Support SOP development and workflow improvements
Provide insights to the Director of Maintenance to influence planning and resourcing decisions
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in aviation maintenance, aircraft parts procurement, or MRO environment preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Experience with maintenance tracking or ERP systems considered an asset
Ability to prioritize in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
