BORDER PROTECTION SPECIALIST

A Customs and Border Protection Officer plays a vital role in safeguarding America's borders, detaining suspected violators of federal laws, enforcing customs regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• This position requires specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level with skills such as:

    • Detaining suspected violators of federal laws using proper law enforcement methods
    • Enforcing customs regulations relating to importing/exporting goods from/to US
    • Utilizing intelligence techniques for identifying potential threats & performing risk assessments
