Border Security Specialist

• A minimum of three years full-time general work experience demonstrating the ability to meet and deal with people or equivalent education is required for GS-5 level.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is also acceptable for GS-5 level qualification.

• Experience in performing physical inspections, utilizing observational techniques, evaluating facts, reviewing documentation; making determinations leading to arrests or seizures may qualify candidates at higher grade levels.

You'll receive annual base salary ranging from $40, 521 per year based on grade level eligibility. Salary varies by duty location as well as operational requirements. Recruitment incentives are offered up to $15, 00 annually depending on geographic locations assigned within service contracts.

Candidates selected will participate in paid pre-academy orientation followed by intensive training lasting nearly four months – CBP Field Operations Academy at FLETC located near Brunswick Georgia where successful completion earns officers their badge!
