A Customs and Border Protection Officer is responsible for enforcing laws and regulations related to customs, immigration, and agriculture. This role requires candidates who can think critically, work well under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws; enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise; utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis; conducting interviews/interviews as a law enforcement officer;
