**Protection Agent**

In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding America's borders and protecting its citizens. You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

• You will conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• You will facilitate the flow of legitimate trade and travel while preventing the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.
• You will make determinations on admissibility based on various factors including documentation verification and risk assessment.

To be considered for this position, you must have one of the following qualifications:

• A minimum three years general work experience demonstrating people skills or academic degree from an accredited institution.
• Specialized full-time work experience equivalent to GS-5 level that includes performing physical inspections.​
• Bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement or graduate-level education demonstrating necessary knowledge skills & abilities..
