About the Job
This is a career ladder position that offers opportunities for growth and advancement. You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, facilitating legitimate trade and travel, conducting inspections, determining admissibility of individuals to the United States, preventing illegal entry of people or goods.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who possess excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate must have at least one year experience equivalent to GS-7 level which includes:
- • Detaining suspected violators using proper law enforcement methods.• Enforcing import/export regulations.• Utilizing intelligence techniques to identify potential threats.• Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
The ideal candidate may also possess education such as Master's degree from an accredited college/university or LL.B/J.D., OR combination of both.
