A Day in the Life of a CBP Officer: As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer you will be part of an elite team protecting America’s borders. You will enforce U.S. customs, immigration, and agriculture laws ensuring only legitimate goods are allowed entry into the country. Your day begins with reviewing traveler documentation before interviewing individuals at checkpoints or inspecting cargo shipments.
Critical thinking is key as you assess situations quickly making informed decisions on allowing passage or apprehending potential threats
