Border Protection Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Customs Officers. As a Customs Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting national security, enforcing laws and regulations, and facilitating the flow of legitimate trade.

• Enforce customs laws and regulations
• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances
• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States
• Pursue investigations related to smuggling or other illicit activities

In order to be eligible for this position, applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal law enforcement methods using proper methods; Enforcing laws relating importing/exporting merchandise entering/exiting US; Utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis identifying potential threats performing risk assessments violations/national security purposes conducting interviews gaining information determining appropriate actions etc.
