This is what you will do:
[Definition: Position Summary:]
• The members of the Patient Program are expected to provide patients and families suffering from rare diseases with correct information as soon as possible and various support programs during the treatment phase.
• We also collect and analyze data obtained from Alexion's various assets including support program, websites and etc in order to find insights for each disease.
• Based on the insights addressed above, we will work with our colleagues in Medical Affairs to fill unmet needs and close the medical gap.

You will be responsible for:

• Our work will be executed as a tactical plan based on Medical Affairs' disease strategy.
• Management of disease awareness website and products’ website for patients.
• Creation and management of patient and family materials for rare disease patients and families and maintenance of existing materials including digital contents and brochure.
• Operation of the Patient Support Program(PSP)
• Setting and monitoring of KGI and KPI for each
• At the same time, in handling a variety of digital assets, the candidate will be required to understand and operate in accordance with Alexion's privacy policy and personal information protection regulations.
• In the course of performing his/her duties, the candidate will be required to interact with a number of internal stakeholders in Medical Affairs, also closely work with commercial team; marketing and sales.
• In order to produce each content, we are required to work with many production companies. Quality management, budget management, and time management are required within a set budget.
• By leveraging external specialist vendors, we collect and analyze data obtained from PSPs and other sources to identify the challenges patients face
• We may also consider introducing customized assets deployed by Global Patient service to Japan.
• Attend meetngs with global x-functional team to give presentation for obtaining alignment of tactics.
• We are required constantly to scout for innovative ideas to drive initiatives that enhance patient engagement and transform existing business models.

You will need to have:

• Basic knowledge of local pharmaceutical regulations is mandatory
• Excellent project management skills
• Solution oriented and ability to work in a complex environment
• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to deliver impactful presentations in both Japanese and English.
• Good analytical skills as applied to medical, scientific, and technical information
• Ability to motivate and influence others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.


We would prefer for you to have:
[Definition: Preferred Qualifications. The “nice to have” skills and requirements for the position]
• Experience in medical affairs is a plus
• Solid background and experience in thrombosis//hemostasis/cardiology/neurology/genetic and metabolic disorders, experience in launching new drugs, and/or understanding life‐cycle development of a product strongly preferred
• If you do not have experience in a pharmaceutical company, experience in executing digital strategies based on the customer journey in the B to C and experience in project management is a plus.
