Seeking an experienced Data Scraper to extract a database of 8, ,000 products from the Croatian market.
SCOPE:
Focus on FMCG: Dairy, Meat, Fish, Fruit/Vegetables, Pantry staples, and Frozen food.
REQUIRED DATA POINTS (JSON format):
GTIN / EAN Barcode: Standard 13 or 8-digit codes. Strictly NO internal SKUs.
Product Name & Brand: (e.g., "Vindija Svježe mlijeko 1L")
Category: Clear categorization for filtering.
Standard Price: Retail price in EUR.
Promotion Data: If on action: Discounted price, End date, and Store name.
Image URL: Direct absolute link to high-res photo.
PRIMARY SOURCES:
Webshops: , , , , ,
Aggregators: , (for leaflets).
Delivery: Wolt/Glovo (Croatia) for EAN validation backup.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Uniqueness: No duplicate GTINs.
Quality: Clean strings, proper capitalization, no extra spaces.
Image Hosting: Direct source links only (do not download).
Regional Preference: Freelancers from the Balkans/Adriatic preferred (language & market knowledge).
MANDATORY TEST & VALIDATION:
Pre-award Test: You must provide a 20-item sample (Dairy/Meat) in JSON. I will verify barcodes against a physical scanner. Wrong codes = automatic rejection.
Payment & Validation: Divided into milestones. Final payment released only after a full check. We will randomly verify 200+ barcodes. Error rate less than 2% (wrong GTIN/SKU) means rejection for revision.
