Description:
We are building an MVP backend for Rushd Capital, a Sharia-compliant robo-advisor.
Architecture, domain model, database schema, and API endpoints are already designed. We need a Python/FastAPI backend developer to implement the core services (auth, users, KYC orchestration, recommendations, portfolios, notifications, audit logging) in a modular monolith.
Broker integration (trading, funding, market data) is out of scope for this first contract and will be a separate phase.
Key points:
Tech: Python 3.11, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL (Supabase), Pydantic.
You'll work from:
Existing repo structure
Domain & DB schema docs
OpenAPI spec for endpoints
Focus is on clean implementation, tests for main flows, and following the provided architecture.
Project type: Fixed price, with milestones.
Initial budget: $6,000 for the core backend MVP.
