This is not a "connect two apps together" gig. We want someone who's built sophisticated, multi-step automations in enterprise or agency contexts and is now pushing the boundaries of what's possible with n8n + AI.
What you'll do:
Research, design, and implement complex n8n workflow automations — the kind that replace entire agency functions or manual business processes
Build agentic AI workflows within n8n that can reliably handle tasks companies currently hire people or agencies for
Document and write up each automation as a guide using our provided template (writing skill is a bonus — we'll provide the structure either way)
Stay on top of what the most sophisticated organisations are doing with AI automation and replicate/improve on it
You must have:
Deep background in RPA and workflow automation — you were doing complex Zapier, Make, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate work before n8n existed
Strong n8n experience now — this is your primary tool for building complex, multi-step workflows with branching logic, error handling, and API integrations
Ability to design automations that are robust and production-grade, not just demos
Experience automating real business processes end-to-end (not just syncing data between two apps)
Nice to have:
Python skills for custom logic, scripting nodes, or when n8n alone isn't enough
Experience building AI agent workflows
Ability to write clear technical guides (we have a template, but strong writing is a plus)
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
