Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior UiPath RPA Developer to lead end-to-end healthcare automation projects, integrating post-acute Electronic Medical Record (EHR) systems with our AI platform used by U.S. home health agencies.
You will own projects from requirements through deployment, customer training, and production support. This role requires deep UiPath expertise and prior experience working in HIPAA-regulated healthcare environments.
Experience with post-acute EHR platforms such as WellSky, Homecare Homebase, KanTime, or similar systems is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities — End-to-End Ownership
You will own the full automation lifecycle:
• Gather customer requirements and define automation workflows
• Write user stories and process documentation
• Create process flow diagrams and solution design documents
• Perform data mapping between systems
• Design secure automation architecture and exception handling
• Develop UiPath bots and workflows
• Conduct testing and validation with stakeholders
• Deploy automations into production
• Train customers and internal teams
• Provide ongoing automation support and improvements
• Participate in daily standups and team meetings
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years experience in UiPath development
• Proven experience delivering automation projects end-to-end
• Experience integrating with EMR/EHR systems
• Experience working in HIPAA-compliant environments
• Experience handling PHI securely
• Experience implementing:
Secure credential management
Encryption practices
Secure data handling
Access controls
• Strong experience with UiPath Orchestrator, queues, and exception handling
• Experience documenting technical and business workflows
• Strong client communication skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience with post-acute EHR systems such as:
WellSky
KanTime
or other home health / hospice EHRs
• Experience automating home health or hospice workflows
• API integration experience
• Experience with AI or Python integrations
Work Requirements:
Due to healthcare data security requirements:
• Developer must personally perform the work — no subcontracting or substitution allowed
• Developer will sign NDA, BAA and Acceptable Data Use policies
• We utilize Upwork (screenshot and picture) to ensure work is not being sub contracted
• Must work agreed EST hours
• Upwork time tracker required
• Periodic verification during working hours may be requested
• Must attend standups and team meetings with working camera enabled
• Long-term availability preferred
